Works on black anodized at 5W but mark is lighter than higher-wattage machines. Run 2 passes for darker result.

Cork cuts in 2 passes at 5W. No air assist recommended — can cause cork blowout. Clean edge.

Cork is one of the best materials for a 5W laser. Great contrast, good depth. Ideal starter project for beginners on this machine.

Engraves thin leather well. Darker mark at 55% power. Best on light-coloured veg-tan. Test on scrap first.

Cardboard is easy for a 5W. Clean cut, slight char on edges. Good for paper crafts and templates.

Decent engrave quality for a 5W. Good for simple text and logos. Reduce speed to 1000 mm/min for photo detail.

5W module is very limited for wood cutting — 5 passes needed. Very slow. Better suited to engraving. Consider upgrading to a higher-wattage module.
