Higher wattage typically means faster cutting and the ability to cut thicker material in fewer passes. The xTool P2 (55W) cuts thicker material in single passes and engraves at higher speeds than the FLUX Ador (50W). For raster engraving the difference is smaller because surface engraving is limited by mechanical scan speed.
