Faster pass for simple logos or large fills. May leave slight paint haze — a second pass at same settings cleans it. Use if 2000mm/min setting feels too slow for large jobs.

Opaque/cast black acrylic only. Use Constant Power mode in LightBurn. Focus 1–2mm below surface. Clear acrylic is not suitable — 450nm diode passes straight through it.

Multiple passes cleaner than one slow pass. Air assist recommended to prevent flare-ups in porous cork.

A community-tested starting point is speed 800 mm/min, power 60% in a single pass. Always run a test cut on scrap to confirm before committing to your project.

Can the Woxcker L2 MAX engrave metal?

Diode lasers can mark anodized aluminium, coated metals, and powder-coated surfaces without any spray. For bare steel, brass, or copper you need a marking compound like Cermark or Dry Moly. Fiber lasers mark bare metal directly without any coating.
