Baltic birch glue layers absorb energy unevenly. 3 passes needed. Check flatness of sheet before long runs.

Easy clean cut on cardboard. Skip air assist on cardboard — can cause flare-ups. Watch the cut closely.

Cork cuts in 2 passes at 11W. No air assist recommended — airflow can cause blowout in porous cork.

Cork chars easily — keep power low. Good for coasters and pot stands. Lovely contrast at 30%.

Black anodized dog tags and keychains. Clean legible mark at 70%. Lighter anodize colours may need 80%.

Good white engrave on black slate. Invert image. 80% power at this speed gives a consistent bright mark. Wipe surface with damp cloth after.
