ACMER P2 33W

Removes anodized coating, revealing bare metal underneath. High contrast result. 33W machine needs lower power than weaker diodes for same anodize removal — start low and test. Works on black, red, green, and gold anodize. Wipe with microfiber after for crisp reveal.

Opaque black acrylic only — 450nm diode passes through clear acrylic. With 33W and air assist, cuts cleanly in a single pass at high speed. Remove protective paper before cutting. Constant power mode. Check for slight haze on edge — remove masking immediately if present.

Veg-tan leather only. 33W is powerful — keep speed high and power moderate to avoid burning through. Test on scrap first; hide thickness varies significantly. Never use chrome-tanned leather (toxic fumes). Dynamic power mode.

Tested directly on stainless steel at 200mm/min, 100% power, 1 pass with air assist on. Result: legible text/marks. Varying power and line interval (0.05–0.1mm) produces color oxidation effects (blues, oranges, purples) — a standout feature of the P2's high power. Black acrylic paint pre-coating not required at full power.

High speed engrave leveraging the P2's 30,000mm/min rated speed and linear guide rails. Use dynamic power mode. Result: good contrast with minimal charring. Bump to 55% for deeper/darker mark. Always run a material test grid first.

33W cuts 3mm MDF cleanly in one pass with air assist. MDF produces heavy fumes — ventilate well. Air assist critical to prevent flare-up and keep lens clean. Multiple fast passes are an alternative for cleaner edges on thicker MDF (8mm: 2 passes).

33W with included air assist makes light work of 3mm basswood in a single pass. Optimal range tested: 70–100% power at 800–1100mm/min. Air assist included as standard — always use it for cutting. Constant power mode. Check flatness of sheet.
